With the Starling Chamber Orchestra's 8-concert "World Tour" in February and March of 2003, Tessa soloed Wieniawski's Legende.  To see a cool poster advertising the tour (in German, low resolution version), click here.  A review of their first concert on the tour, which appeared in the Augsburger Zeitung, suggested that members of the Orchestra "seem to have been born in a violin case," and that "Tessa Lark allowed Wieniawskï's  to blossom with grace and charm in shining cantilenas."  Click here for the complete review, translated from German.

Also in 2003, Tessa was a featured soloist in two events at CCM; the Starling Chamber Orchestra concert on May 4 in Robert J. Werner Hall, where Tessa performed both Paganini's Cantabile and Wieniawski's Legende; and the Starling Showcase Concert on May 10 in Patricia Corbett Theater, where Tessa played the Carmen Fantasy by Sarasate, backed by members of the CCM Orchestra.   Tessa performed Mark O'Connor's Appalachia Waltz for 3 violins with her new friends Kristen and Mike at the Mark O'Connor Fiddle Camp on June 27 (Click for pictures).  On September 14, Tessa was a featured soloist, along with her friends Charles Yang, Su Yeon Lee, and Ga Yeon Lee in a Starling Chamber Orchestra concert with the Otto M. Budig Academy of Cincinnati Ballet.
